Camp Whittier is a beautiful and scenic camp located in the mountains behind Santa Barbara. This 55-acre private wonderland is nestled within an oak tree grove which provides amazing opportunities to view deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife. Camp Whittier has quaint cabins with shower houses and bathrooms right next door, with a capacity to hold up to 150 people, a full dining hall with food service, high and low ropes courses, and easy access to Lake Cachuma for fossil digging, boating adventures, and limnology.

Accommodations

Camp Whittier is so scenic and peaceful. The camp offers 9 bunk cabins each to sleep 12 students. Teachers will enjoy the log cabin lodge with a meeting space for 150 and additional private sleeping rooms. The dining hall serves up to 180 and offers buffet-style delicious food three times daily with snacks and beverages at all times. The sunrise campfire bowl, lush central field, ropes course, and Lake Cachuma access makes Camp Whittier a great place for outdoor science programming.
