Program Information

The Brandeis Science Exploration is the best value in the WOLF Top 10 portfolio. Brandeis spans 3000 private acres with exclusive access to miles of scenic trails, two year-round swimming pools, a high ropes alpine tower, a 50' climbing wall, two low ropes courses, and a giant swing. Brandeis accommodates WOLF's best science rotations. Students enjoy building solar boats, botany & microscopes, wild edibles & plant i.d., geology & fossils, and a broad array of night programming and sensory awareness activities.

The Brandeis Science Exploration can be combined with the Primitive Skills Village (archery & tomahawks, friction fires, medicine bags, shell jewelry, mineral paints, wikiups.) and the Frontier Outpost Camp (two-person bucksaws, fried dough, candle making, gold panning).

The Brandeis location is well suited for large groups, providing excellent food service in two upscale dining facilities and housing ranging from cabins to hotel-style suites all at the most affordable 3-5 day rates. Brandeis is the site of WOLF's district-wide SVUSD and MUSD programs as well as the WOLF Summer Camp open to students ages 8-14. Brandeis is an expansive and beautifully maintained outdoor education and retreat center located off of Tapo Canyon along Peppertree Lane in Simi Valley, CA. Brandeis features lush ball fields, contemporary cabins and lodging, full dining hall food service, farm animals, high and low ropes adventure courses, a multi-sided climbing wall, and staffed gated entry. It is a wonderful place for outdoor trips, specially customized programs, or those involving a lot of hiking.

Completely secure and private grounds offer 3000 gated acres of land for hiking and exploring. Several outdoor and indoor gathering spaces, and meeting rooms with various capacities from 25-500 people are available. In addition, newly remodeled cabins, team-building courses, and multiple athletic fields are onsite.
