WOLF offers exciting trips to Northern California destinations including Monterey and Big Sur, the Russian River, Santa Cruz, Pinnacles National Forest, San Francisco, and much more! These trips provide students with the unique opportunity to visit environmentally diverse and culturally rich areas of California under the guidance and supervision of the WOLF leaders. 3-5 day adventures to these Northern California destinations are many of the most memorable trips offered in the WOLF portfolio.


The WOLF Russian River Trip is a spectacular 33-mile canoe trip that begins in the pastoral wine country of Santa Rosa, CA.  The journey transitions to the coastal environment around Duncan’s Mills and culminates at the seaside town of Jenner where students paddle with sea lions and experience the great accomplishment of reaching the ocean. San Francisco

WOLF takes students on a grand adventure through an urban metropolis. The San Francisco Trip treats participants to the wonders of Golden Gate Park, The Exploritorium, Alcatraz, The Acadamy of Sciences, Fisherman's Wharf, and The San Francisco Opera. So much culture, and so much fun! The trip culminates with a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge and an all-group closing at the Palace of Fine Arts. The WOLF San Francisco Adventure is truly a fun and memorable experience. Recommended for grades 7 & up.


Pinnacles National Park

Pinnacles National Park is a hidden gem of Central California. It is the newest National Park in the United States, dedicated in 2012. The WOLF Pinnacles Adventure treats students to the fascinating and diverse topography of this relativity unexplored landscape including two cave systems, staircase trails deep water lake, spectacular volcanic formations, flowering plant life, and abundant wildlife. The scenery is amazing! As with all WOLF camping adventures, WOLF provides all supplies, tents, and equipment and prepares exceptional food to make the home base comfortable and fun! This trip has an excellent option to include rock climbing and rappelling as well. 


Sequoia National Park

Only 3 hours away are California's most magnificent forests in Sequoia National Park. The WOLF Sequoia adventure takes students on a study in beauty, botany, and the forest ecosystem as the group explores all of the natural offerings of this majestic place. Groups visit Morrow Rock, Tunnel log, the museums near Lodgepole, and the Giant Forest, home of the General Sherman Tree famed to be the largest tree in the world. It's amazing. While in the park, campers stay at any of the popular and scenic National Park campsites while traveling from place to place in WOLF vans. As always, all tents, equipment, and instruction as well as exceptional food service are provided by WOLF.
