WOLF is a non-profit educational corporation committed to fulfilling our mission by creating programs that set new standards of excellence. We develop custom-designed programs for schools, adults, families, and businesses. Our blend of education and adventure emphasizes self-development, esteem-building, and scholastic learning.

We were founded in 1993 by teachers who believed that outdoor learning experiences were important in our human development and that a commitment to excellence will help people reach their full potential. In 1995, WOLF incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational organization providing unique outdoor education programs.

Our Mission

Our commitment and beliefs have enabled us to grow, providing over 100 educational programs annually, along with at-risk youth and gang intervention courses, corporate team-building, ropes course construction, international expeditions, and staff & faculty training seminars.

Our knowledgeable instructors and naturalists are carefully selected for their professionalism and caring nature. WOLF offers a variety of program options that can incorporate education, adventure, first aid training, and outdoor skills.

Employment

Thank you for your interest in working with us. WOLF is a non-profit educational corporation deeply committed to program excellence. We continually add new and diverse programs to offer schools. Instructors and Naturalists are our most valuable resource. That’s why we pay above the industry average. Daily salary varies depending on your experience and the type of program. WOLF collaborates with a diverse range of organizations and individuals who are experts in their respective fields. Our diverse staff members contribute to the unique appeal of each program by sharing their own expertise and experiences.

Some specific staff responsibilities include cooking outdoors for large groups of people, leading night hikes, site preparation, storytelling, taking advantage of teachable moments, life skills training, and, of course, making magic happen. You may be asked to lead all group activities, pre-dawn nature walks, songs, or team-building games.

We are committed to creating and facilitating programs that fulfill our mission. We want team members who are flexible, caring, safe, willing to learn, and committed to excellence. We will keep your application on file for one year. We appreciate your interest in the environment and our common future.
