Russian River
The WOLF Outdoor Education Russian River Trip is a spectacular 33-mile canoe trip that begins in the pastoral wine country of Santa Rosa, CA. The journey transitions to the coastal environment around Duncan’s Mills. It culminates at the seaside town of Jenner, where students paddle with sea lions and experience the great accomplishment of reaching the ocean. Check out our Top 10 Russian River page for more information.
San Francisco
WOLF’s San Francisco Metropolis Trip takes students on a grand adventure through Northern California’s urban metropolis. Our program treats participants to the wonders of Golden Gate Park, The Exploratorium, Alcatraz, The Academy of Sciences, Fisherman's Wharf, and The San Francisco Opera. So much culture, and so much fun! The trip culminates with a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge and an all-group closing at the Palace of Fine Arts. The WOLF San Francisco Adventure is a loved adventure by International and Out-of-State schools.
Pinnacles National Park is a hidden gem of Central California. It is the newest National Park in the United States, dedicated in 2012. The WOLF Pinnacles Outdoor Education Adventure offers students a fascinating and diverse look at this relatively unexplored landscape, including two cave systems, staircase trails, a deep-water lake, spectacular volcanic formations, flowering plant life, and abundant wildlife. The scenery is fantastic! As with all WOLF camping adventures, WOLF provides all supplies, tents, and equipment, and prepares exceptional food to make the home base comfortable and fun! This trip offers an excellent option to include rock climbing and rappelling.
Sequoia National Park
The WOLF Outdoor Education Sequoia National Park Adventure takes students on a study of beauty, botany, and the forest ecosystem as the group explores all of the natural offerings of the majestic Sequoia National Park. Groups visit Morrow Rock, Tunnel Log, the museums near Lodgepole, and the Giant Forest, home of the General Sherman Tree, famed to be the largest tree in the world. It's amazing. While in the park, campers stay at any of the popular, scenic National Park campsites as they travel from place to place in WOLF vans. As always, all tents, equipment, and instruction, as well as exceptional food service, are provided by WOLF.
